The man who was shot to death Thursday night outside a trailer at the Fairlawn Court, 3605 Lycoming Creek Road, has been identified as Brian M. Miller, 44, of South Second St., Hughesville, according to Lycoming County Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr.
An autopsy was done Friday morning at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. All indications were that Miller died of a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to investigators.
Police and paramedics rushed to the trailer court about 6:50 p.m. for a shooting victim.
“Jeremy Weston, a resident of the trailer court, called 911 to report that he shot Miller in self-defense outside a trailer,” Old Lycoming Township police Sgt. Christopher Kriner said Friday. Weston was the first to call 911, but there were others, Kriner said. ....

Police and paramedics rushed to the Fairlawn Court where a man was shot to death Thursday night.
One man was dead, another in police custody following a shooting that occurred at the Fairlawn Court, 3605 Lycoming Creek Road, in Lycoming Township just before 7 p.m. Thursday, Old Lycoming Township police confirmed.
This was being termed a domestic situation, Sgt. Christopher Kriner told a reporter at the scene.
Old Lycoming Township police provide protection for Lycoming Township.
One man shot another outside one of the trailers and the victim collapsed in a yard, a woman who lives in the trailer court told a reporter. ....

It appears that Seth Magargle was making fireworks in his utility room when an explosion ripped through his home at 3540 Linn St in Lycoming Township on the night of April 10, investigators said this week.
Legal firework activity is how Trooper Nathan Birth, a state police fire marshal, termed the probably cause for the explosion and subsequent fire that gravely injured Magargle and destroyed the home where he and his wife, Kathy, lived
Kathy escaped the fire unharmed, fire officials.
Birth said the fire was still under investigation as Magargle, 48, remained in critical, but stable condition with blunt-force trauma injuries at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. ....
