L-A theater to hold silent auction May 16-30

The L-A Community Little Theatre in Auburn is preparing to launch its third annual “Not So Little” online auction, starting Sunday, May 16.
Funds raised from the auction will be directed to the theater’s building fund. Local businesses have again showed support for theater through sponsorship and the donation of items.
The focus of the theater’s last auction, which earned $6,700, was to cover costs incurred after the theater had to shut down because of the pandemic.
While the theater has yet to launch its first post-COVID production, volunteers have been busy with behind-the-scenes activity and making improvements to the facility. The theater community looks to bring back live theater to the Lewiston-Auburn community in the near future. ....
