HALLETTSVILLE, Texas- A 35-year-old Kristy Turner and her unborn child died this morning during a two-car crash on U.S. Highway 77. The other driver in the crash was named Flaviano Loredo-Maldonado, he lost control of his pickup truck due to the ice on the road and swerved into Turner’s lane.
Turner and her unborn child were declared deceased at the scene and Loredo-Maldonado was taken to the Lavaca County Medical Center where he was treated and released into the custody of the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office. Now he’s waiting for the U.S Border Patrol to pick him up. This is an ongoing investigation and we will keep you updated when more information becomes available. ....
