COVID-19 vaccine-eligible residents could have closer access to immunization by the end of the month.
Leduc-Beaumont MLA Brad Rutherford confirmed that Alberta Health Services (AHS) is planning to make vaccinations available at the Leduc Public Health Centre sometime in March.

“We reached out to AHS and fairly soon there’s going to be an immunization clinic opening … they said that would be opening this month,” Rutherford explained.
Currently vaccination is available at select clinics and pharmacies in Edmonton, Calgary and Red Deer. For housebound residents or those with accessibility issues, getting to the closest vaccination centre from Leduc can pose a challenge. ....
