Every Thursday at 14:30, people will be able to tune in live to see dolphin performances at the Lithuanian Sea Museum in Klaipėda.
The first show streamed on the museum’s Facebook page attracted some 1,300 online views.
“The animals and we have missed visitors,” Olda Žalienė, director of the museum, said in a press release. “The quarantine hasn t stopped the work of the museum or the delfinarium.”
“The trainers go to work everyday and work with the animals [and] each session is the same performance by the dolphins, only without spectators,” she said. “Therefore, we decided to show at least a part of what goes on at the delfinarium to the viewers.” ....
