Article content All Grade 9 students at St. Mary’s College have to isolate until April 15 following a recent positive COVID-19 case at the school. The Algoma Public Health recommendation follows two Grade 9 classes moving into isolation last weekend. An individual associated with the classes tested positive for COVID-19. “APH works with local school boards to follow provincial guidance when managing possible COVID-19 exposures in school settings,” said manager of communications Leo Vecchio in an email. “Classes or cohorts may be dismissed and directed to self-isolate when there is reason to believe that the class or cohort may have been exposed to COVID-19.” ....
