Ladywell Green School in Newtown is hoping former pupils and staff members will bring in mementos and old photographs ahead of the school’s merger with Hafren in September.
The school will be celebrating nearly 70 years of the school with a ‘Celebration Week’ at the end of July.
“We really, really need your help and quite simply, we can’t do it without you,” said the school. “Let’s make this a celebration to remember.”
The school is planning to record memories in a short film and would like people to send a video clip of them sharing their memories of the school. They are also asking for old photos of the school, past pupils and staff, and written memories for a school newspaper. ....
