ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation opens a dedicated COVID-19 patient facility under the coordination of Cayuga Health.
Cayuga Health says the 37-bed facility is in response to an increase in demand for acute bed care in the Southern Tier and across the region. The COVID-19 facility is located in a separate unoccupied building on the Cayuga Nursing & Rehabilitation Center campus.
Cayuga Health President and CEO Dr. Marty Stallone says the partnership with Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation benefits all of our regional hospitals.
