Karnataka s annual credit plan (ACP) target for 2021-22 has been set at Rs 4,96,371 crore, up 35.78 per cent compared to the previous fiscal. The figure for 2020-21 was Rs 3,65,556 crore.
The ACP for 2021-22 was launched at the 153rd meeting of the State-level Banker s Committee, Karnataka, on Monday, an official release said.

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Regional Office, Karnataka, has projected the credit potential for the State at ₹2,96,051 crore for 2021–22, an increase of 21.05% over the projection made for 2020–21 of ₹2,44,564 crore.
Chief Secretary P. Ravi Kumar released the State Focus Paper 2021–22 and said the credit potential for agriculture had been estimated at ₹1,45,213 crore for the year. The farm sector has been receiving less investment in the State as 55% farmers own less than one hectare, he said. ....

Bengaluru, Jan 27: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa launched the state-wide campaign for distributing pension at doorsteps and also the Navodaya App software developed in accordance with the National Education Policy guidelines.
Revenue Minister R Ashok, Bengaluru Urban Zilla Panchayat President Mariswamy, Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Jeevaraj, MLA Ramesh Gowda and Revenue Department Additional Principal Secretary Mahendra Jain and others were present at the function held in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Earlier, the Chief Minister held a review meeting with regard to the grant of scholarships and stipends to students studying under the Social Welfare and Backward Classes schemes. ....
