SOUTH BEND Police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that left one person hospitalized. 
Officers were called to the intersection of Lincoln Way West and Allen Street around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday to find a person who had been shot in the upper body, police said.
The individual was taken to Memorial Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The South Bend Police Department s Shooting Response Team is handling the investigation. Officials ask anyone with information about the incident to call Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP. ....
