Staff report Chris Guidry was the only candidate to qualify as the Town of Sorrento’s next mayor, replacing two-term Mayor Mike Lambert. Six candidates qualified for the March 20 election to select five town council members. The three incumbents seeking reelection are: Randy Anny, Wanda Bourgeois, and Patti Poche. The three challengers are: Chad Domingue, Darnell Gilbert Sr., and Duane Humphrey. “I can’t wait to get to work for our town.
