Chevron Donates $60k to Three Permian Basin Hospitals
Chevron has donated to three hospitals seeing the biggest increases in COVID-19 cases.
According to NewsWest 9, the $60,000 is being donated to Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Ft. Stockton, Reeves County Hospital in Pecos, and Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans, all of those hospitals will receive $20,000 each.
“We hope this virus subsides, but in the meantime, we are grateful to be able to support these worthy hospitals by funding much needed resources and equipment,” said Mike Milliorn, Chevron Operations Superintendent.
The hospitals plan to use the donation to purchase much needed PPE and equipment they need to combat the Coronavirus like plasma freezers. ....
