FORMER Mayor of Warrington Geoff Settle will stand for the Green Party in the all-out elections in May.
Warrington and Halton Green Party has announced he will battle for a seat in the Poulton North ward.
The ex-Labour councillor served Poulton North for six years and was mayor in 2015-16.
Mr Settle had a hip replacement two weeks ago but ‘continues to look after his community’ by answering requests for help.
Following his hip operation, he is gaining strength and balance rapidly using the techniques learned for recovery from injury as a member of Warrington Athletic Club. ....
