Conventional Journalism and Power of Social Media Discussed at 9th GFJN
New Delhi: “A wonderful comparison can be made between conventional and social media. The advantages and disadvantages are no more hidden from even the youngest part of the society. What more can be important than this topic today. For us both are important and necessary but do require some sort of checks too,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the first session of third day of 9th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021 online.
Social media is instant, easy to express, fastest in nature, reach is high, spread news faster, few words are required, catch on fast with other media on the other hand conventional media is slow, takes its own time, make you wait for space and time, series of checking and correction, delivery of news is much late but authentic, confirmed and describes fully.
