'Compassionate, soft, joyful': parish and school community mourns girl, 13, killed in Muskoka boat crash

The community at a Toronto parish and school are mourning the death of a teenage girl killed in a Muskoka boating crash.
Blessed Sacrament Parish leaders tell CTV News Toronto 13-year old Quinn Cammaert died in the collision.
They said dozens of people attended a vigil Thursday night at her school, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School to remember the recent Grade 8 graduate and valedictorian.
“The silence was overwhelming. It was very difficult to go over there as a pastor knowing these students, but the good news was we prayed together as a community,” Father Larry Marcille, the pastor at the parish, said. ....

The body of a 51-year-old woman who went missing after a boat crash on Lake Rosseau in Muskoka Wednesday evening has been recovered.
Emergency crews were called to the lake near Windermere Marina just after 7:30 p.m. for a crash.
Bracebridge OPP said witnesses reported seeing several people in the water following the collision.
A total of six people, who are seasonal residents from the Greater Toronto Area, were in the two boats, according to police.
A 13-year-old girl from Toronto was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other passengers were taken to hospital with serious injuries, including one person who was airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital in critical condition. ....

OPP divers recovered the body of a woman who went missing after a two-vessel boat crash on Lake Rosseau that killed a young girl and sent four others to the hospital.
The search for the 51-year-old woman from Oakville that started Wednesday evening ended this afternoon despite inhospitable conditions, police say.
Police say six people were involved in the deadly collision that happened around 7:40 p.m. near Windermere Marina, including a 13-year-old Toronto girl who died at the scene.
Police say four people were rescued from the water after the crash and rushed to the hospital.
They say one female was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with critical injuries. Three others were taken to a local hospital and have since been released. ....
