Novant Health on Wednesday announced the deployment of its mobile health clinics, and today, one of those clinics was parked in Winston-Salem. In partnership with Winston-State University, the Rams cruiser was parked at Community Care Center on New Walkertown Road. No appointments were necessary and bilingual staff members were present in case of language barriers.Novant says the goal is to provide easier access to vaccines to communities that need it most and establish trust.“Minority groups have had a lot of mistrust of the health care system and rolling out a vaccine is kind of a hard thing to wrap your head around but we are here.
