NORTH SOUND, Antigua – Elegant strokemaker Shai Hope became only the eighth West Indies batsman to score ten One-Day International hundreds when he carved out a high-quality century in his first ODI in 12 months, to power the Caribbean side to a comfortable eight victory over Sri Lanka today.
The polished right-hander, also featuring for West Indies for the first time in eight months, hit 110 off 133 deliveries as West Indies easily reeled in a below-par target of 233 with three overs to spare at the Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium, to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. ....

NORTH SOUND, Antigua – Fast bowler Akeem Jordan flattened Windward Islands Volcanoes with a devastating five-wicket haul today, to earn Barbados Pride their first win of the Super50 Cup and keep alive their slim chances of a semi-final spot.
After Justin Greaves (76) and Shamarh Brooks (61) compiled half-centuries to propel Pride to 286 for eight off their 50 overs at the Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium, right-armer Jordan (5-26) sliced through Volcanoes’ batting to send them crashing for 113 all out in the 35th over and to a heavy 173-run defeat.
Veteran opener Andre Fletcher top-scored with 34 and captain Sunil Ambris got 26 but they were the only two of the specialist batsmen to reach double figures as Volcanoes tumbled from 60 for one in the 14th over, to lose their last nine wickets for 53 runs. ....

Murray: 'Retain Brathwaite as captain' - Barbados Today

Former Test vice-captain, Deryck Murray, believes West Indies could benefit from Kraigg Brathwaite’s retention as captain for next month’s Test series against Sri Lanka, and regular skipper Jason Holder focussing on his role as an all-rounder in the setup.Brathwaite has drawn widespread praise for inspiring an inexperienced West Indies to a resounding 2-0 series win over Bangladesh – the first time in nearly a decade the Caribbean side have won two Tests on away soil.And Murray said once selectors retained the core of the squad from the Bangladesh tour for the upcoming series, there was a “strong case” for Brathwaite replacing Holder. ....
