Labor simply has no credibility when it comes to housing and are yet again choosing to ignore the facts.
Since coming to office, the Tasmanian Liberal Government has reduced the housing maintenance backlog by over $32 million.
The 2020-21 Budget also includes the continuation of the $11.3 million public building maintenance fund to upgrade public housing, and a further $15 million for public housing heating and energy efficiency initiatives which will ease the cost of living pressures for public housing tenants.
If any tenants do have questions or concerns around their property, I encourage them to contact Housing Tasmania on 1300 665 663 so their situation can be assessed as soon as possible. ....
