Valier Lake Frances Fishing Derby
 
The Valier Lake Frances Ice Fishing Derby is coming up on Saturday, February 27th with fishing starting at 8 am.  It paid out nearly $8000 in prizes last year and is expected to do at least as well this year.  Register and buy your raffle tickets in advance at Curry s Market, DeVoes,  and Froggies.  On Friday night  register at One Stop Cenex and Froggies and on Saturday register beginning at 6:00 at One Stop and at derby headquarters at the Pavilion at Lake Frances.  Fishermen must be registered before 10:30 on Saturday to participate. This derby is one of the best in the area with 100% of registration going back to the fishermen as prizes.  Cash is paid to the top 3 heaviest perch and pike.  This derby also features a very large raffle with over 60 nice prizes including an electric ice auger, a Vexilar fish finder, and a  Smith and Wesson AR style 22LR  Rifle.  Find details on face book ....
