NBN News | MATHEMATICS WHIZ EDDIE WOO VISITS ALSTONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

Students at Alstonville High School were today treated with a visit by mathematics whiz, Eddie Woo.
The Maths Growth Team Leader, who has gained more than a million YouTube subscribers, is touring the region to inspire teachers and students to think creatively with numbers.
“Mathematics teaching is really hard and we also don’t have sufficient numbers of trained mathematics teachers so expanding this to as many schools as we can is part of the goal,” Mr Woo said.
“I never liked maths really much but I just heard that he didn’t like it either and he found a way to make it creative, it made me feel excited,” Student, Saaci Tucker, added. ....
