Weatherford Woman Strikes Officer – Charged with Felony

A Weatherford woman has received a felony charge after allegedly assaulting a police officer recently.
According to court records, 38-year-old Tiffany Louise Bray is accused of the crime after a Weatherford police officer was dispatched to Weatherford Regional Hospital on February 26 after being requested by E.R. staff members due to Bray – a patient – being unruly.
A probable cause affidavit revealed that when the officer arrived he could hear commotion coming from one of the exam rooms. After entering the room he saw Bray standing near the door, speaking extremely fast, and her movements were described to be “jittery”. The officer proceeded to help the hospital staff calm the suspect down and place her on the bed. When Bray continued to be non cooperative, the officer attempted to help place soft restraints on the woman’s arms and legs. During this process, the woman would tell the officer to take her to jail. Medical Condition Causes One Vehicle Accident in Custer Co.

A Corn woman was hospitalized after being involved in a one vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon near Weatherford.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 84-year-old Agatha Jean Ediger was driving her 2010 Chevrolet Impala on State Highway 54, 1.5 miles south of Weatherford in Custer County, when she departed the roadway to the right, struck a culvert before coming to a rest at a fence line.
Ediger was transported to Weatherford Regional Hospital where she was admitted in stable condition for observation.
OHP lists the cause of the accident as being a medical condition, and the condition of the driver as being dizzy and ill. ....

Snow to Blame for Washita County Crash

Snow and slush appear to be to blame for a one vehicle accident in Washita County Sunday afternoon.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred approximately at 2:35 Sunday afternoon on a county road two miles east and two and a half miles south of Colony.
OHP says the 2003 Nissan Morano driven by 37-year-old Kayla Joy Hartford of Weatherford was southbound on county road 2440 when while her cruise control was set, lost control of the vehicle on a snow covered bridge. OHP says the vehicle departed the road to the right, then rolled one and a quarter times before coming to rest on its driver side doors. ....
