In Your View: Grateful for people of Boyd

I am writing this to thank all the great people of Boyd County during the ice storm â God almighty, the people at the warming center, Justin Pruitt, our Judge-Executive Eric Chaney â who plowed snow and cut trees with the awesome roads crew 24/7 â Boyd County Sheriffâs Department, National Guard, AEP, my neighbor Lori Stewart and her husband.
Boyd Countyâs roads department was awesome. They had to work in extreme weather â ice, snow and falling trees ââwhich was dangerous at all times. The warming center was a blessing â it kept me from freezing to death. The warming center had food from KFC, Chick-Fil-A, McDonaldâs and many other people or churches sent homemade food. Misty made me chicken and dumplings, which was microwaved, but they were awesome. ....

New Laboratory Freeze Dryer Operates with Natural Gases

LyoQuest Arctic is a new generation of environmentally friendly laboratory freeze dryers that operate with natural gases. Developed by Telstar, the innovative bench-top laboratory freeze dryer integrates pre-freezing, primary drying and secondary drying processes avoiding the use of conventional HFC or HFO cooling gases.
The new freeze-dryer, which operates with natural gases composed by R-170 (Ethane) & R-290 (Propane), guarantees the long-term compliance with increasingly restrictive International regulations (like F-gas). In fact, since 2015 high GWP (Global Warming Potential) gases are not allowed except for very low temperatures applications below -50ºC.
