Police find missing driver dead in Coventry Lake

COVENTRY Police have found the body of the person who drove into Coventry Lake near a boat launch Wednesday.
Coventry police and fire and emergency medical services were called to the scene that afternoon after the vehicle drove off the boat launch into the water.
A Coventry police officer went in the water to try to locate the driver reported to be the vehicle’s only occupant, but was unable to find the person, authorities said.
The Tolland County dive team was also unable to find the driver. ....
