Bbosa: Express FC coach insists on importance of win over Vipers SC

The tactician now believes the game against the Venoms is a good opportunity for his charges to make their intent clear.
"After playing three games without a win, we think Friday's game is a must-win, for us to remain in the title race, we have to win against our closest challengers and the boys know we have to win,"
"Also, we hope some players will be available both from suspensions and injury so we’re set."
Experienced defender Murushid Juuko, who will be playing against his former team, conceded they are disappointed with their last outing against Bright Stars but remained optimistic it will change at St Mary's Kitende.

Kajoba: SC Villa must use their chances vs Express FC to avoid being punished

It is the reason coach Kajoba has called on the Venoms to make sure they make good use of the chances they create so that they don't end up being punished at the end of the game.
“Well, you cannot get anything after the final whistle when you do not convert those chances into goals,” Kajoba told the club’s official website after the game.
“We have to maximise most and bury the opportunities to avoid being punished because that’s the only way out.”
Captain Paul Willa is confident they will keep their good record at home when they come up against the Red Eagles.

'Vipers SC need calm and composure vs struggling Kitara FC' - Kajoba

Kitara, on the other hand, were defeated in their respective previous game after they went down 2-1 to Onduparaka FC at the Masindi Municipal Stadium on Tuesday.
The Venoms have picked up wins in all their previous engagements with Kitara across all competitions. In the Uganda Cup, the debutants lost two games in the 2016/17 season.
The Friday game offers Kajoba's side a chance to do a Premier League double over Kitara after a 2-1 on December 16 in the reverse fixture.
“They have something to fight for, and so the danger we are facing is that they are playing with an objective,” explained Kajoba as was quoted by the club's website.

Vipers SC thump Busoga United to remain top as URA defeat KCCA

Karim Watambala and Manzoki had early chances to give the reigning champions a lead, but they failed to capitalise on their opportunities.
Paul Busoga came close in the 15th minute but his effort was blocked from hitting the back of the net by the crossbar.
After dominating the opening exchanges, the champions, finally, took the lead in the 24th minute courtesy of Kayondo, who was left unmarked in the danger zone.
Despite the number of chances created, the hosts went to the break with a slim 1-0 lead.
The scoreboard changed just two minutes after the pause when red-hot Watambala went past his markers before passing the ball to Ssentamu, who managed to round the goalkeeper before doubling the advantage.

Kajoba: Vipers SC ready mentally and physically to face rivals KCCA FC

Ahead of the match, Vipers coach Kajoba has remained bullish they have set themselves mentally and physically ready for the clash and also said they will strive to use the home advantage.
“We have set ourselves well both mentally and physically and we will go all out against KCCA FC on Wednesday,” Kajoba, who won the coach award for the month of February told the club’s official website.
“We are playing at home and it’s important for us to do our best and end the first round well.”
The Venoms will be seeking a swift return to winning ways after suffering a 2-1 defeat to URA FC on Saturday away at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje while KCCA managed to pick a point from Police FC.
