Polyclinic begins CT scanning July 3, 2021 Islamabad : The Federal Government Polyclinic, the federal capital s second largest government hospital after PIMS, has begun the computed tomography scanning and mammography services. According to Polyclinic executive director Dr Shahid Hanif, these services will be available to visitors free of charge. It s another big move for better patient care. The ministry of health has also awarded a contract to the company which was successful in the tender process while space has been allotted for the installation of two machines at the hospital. With the installation of modern machines, additional medical facilities will be available to the patients inside the hospital, the official maintained. ....

IG gives away cash, certificates to injured cops Lahore April 23, 2021 LAHORE:Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani distributed Rs500,000 each and CC-1 certificates among 11 injured Lahore and Sheikhupura police personnel during a ceremony held on Thursday at Central Police Office (CPO) here. Addressing the injured police officials, the IG Punjab said that just as the brave martyrs are the foreheads of Punjab Police, so are the Ghazis who were injured while performing their professional duties. He said steps would be continued for their best care and welfare in future. He said ceremonies would be organised in their districts to encourage the injured officers and personnel across Punjab where they would be awarded cash prizes and certificates of appreciation.
