NCOC issues Covid prevention guidelines for Eidul Azha

ISLAMABAD:
The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) reiterated on Sunday the Ministry of Health s guidelines for Eidul Azha, urging masses to follow the SOPs to prevent Covid infections.
All cattle markets will be set up outside the cities with adherence to SOPs, said an official communique released by the authority.
The authority also made it mandatory for all staffers and the dealers of the markets to get vaccinated.
The NCOC also directed the markets administration to provide hand sanitisers, masks, and the facility of rapid antigen tests at the premises. ....

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday declared Covid-19 vaccination mandatory for all staff and traders at cattle markets in instructions issued by the body for the upcoming Eidul Azha holiday.
The NCOC also urged the administration to provide hand sanitisers, masks and rapid antigen testing services on entry to the markets.
It added that cattle markets must be set up outside cities and subject to compliance with Covid-19 standard operating procedures. The instructions said there was a ban on buying and selling of animals inside the city . ....

ISLAMABAD: Over 16.7 million doses of the Covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far as National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) issues guidelines for Eid ul Adha, ARY NEWS reported on Sunday.
According to the NCOC, so far over 16.7 million doses have been administered nationwide as it also began administration of Moderna COVID vaccine at Islamabad mass vaccination centre.
The decision-making body on COVID-19 in the country further issued guidelines for Eid ul Adha, directing the concerned authorities to ensure that cattle markets are established outside the cities’ remits to avoid virus spread.
“A complete ban will remain in place on the sale of sacrificial animals within the premises of cities,” it said. “The staffers and the traders at the cattle market should be vaccinated.” ....
