Food: Join the Rotary Club of Sudbury for the fundraiser, Lobster Dinner in a Box. On May 28, you can enjoy a two-person experience ($250 per box). With the ongoing pandemic, it’s a great way to enjoy a nice meal in the comfort of your own home without having to do any of the work. The meal provided by the Rotary Club of Sudbury can be picked up at the Hilton Garden Inn on 475 Barrydowne Rd. (scheduled times to be provided). There is also the possibility for delivery, although charges will be included. To order your Rotary Lobster Dinner in a Box, contact John Dow at john.dow@hotmail.com. Orders must be placed by Friday, May 14.

Fundraiser: The Sudbury Women’s Centre is inviting the community to participate in a campaign to donate $10 to be entered to win a floral arrangement in time for Mother’s Day. Funds will continue to support the SWC as it provides services amid increased demand during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Services include support and referrals, as well as basic needs items, diapers, food and clothing for women in crisis. The last day to contribute and be entered to win is May 7. The winner will be selected on May 8. Visit sudburywc.ca/donate to contribute or learn more about the organization.
