MY communications ministry to aid tourism ministry in reviving industry Details 08 March 2021 The Communications and Multimedia Ministry (KKMM) will continue to assist the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) in reviving Malaysia s tourism industry as restrictions for inter-district travel ease up. Quoting communications and multimedia minister Saifuddin Abdullah, Bernama said KKMM will help MOTAC promote places of interest through broadcast via the national news agency and RTM. Saifuddin said the Malaysian National Film Development Corporation (FINAS) will be able to help MOTAC restore the tourism sector using short videos and documentaries. He added that private companies keen on producing promotional tourism videos can apply for grants through the Malaysian Creative Industry Stimulus Package. According to him, the resurgence of tourism activities would help several industries which were impacted by the pandemic ....

Photo from the zoo s Facebook page Taipei, Feb. 7 (CNA) Taipei Zoo shared its experience of promoting wildlife conservation on Saturday with members of Malaysia s representative office in Taiwan, and announced that a Malayan tapir at the zoo has become pregnant. Officials at the Malaysian Friendship and Trade Center in Taipei, including its President Sharon Ho Swee Peng, toured the zoo and attended a talk by zookeepers, with the hopes of strengthening bilateral cooperation on wildlife conservation, the zoo said in a statement. Taipei Zoo has worked with Malaysia s Zoo Negara, Zoo Melaka and Zoo Taiping on zookeeper training and exchange of animals since 2006, and it has worked with Malaysia s conservation organizations as well, the statement said. ....
