THUNDER BAY Two Thunder Bay companies have stepped forward to accept a challenge from another business that recently donated $10,000 to Shelter House,
Thunder Bay Broom & Chemical, and North Star Air, have both decided to match the donation made last week by Semple Enterprises CEO Titus Semple.
Semple issued the challenge on Friday when he delivered a cheque to honour his late ex-wife. ....

THUNDER BAY – A local business owner hopes his donation to the Shelter House will spur others to support Thunder Bay’s most vulnerable, heading into a winter that’s sure to be more difficult than usual thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Titus Semple, owner of recently launched Semple Enterprises, visited the Shelter House with his family on Friday to present a $10,000 cheque, saying the donation was meant to honour his late ex-wife, Michelane. ....

A big helping hand for Shelter House with a $10,000 donation from a local entrepreneur.
Semple Enterprises founder Titus Semple gave the cheque Friday, saying he wanted to give back to the services that his late wife used.
His business launched this year and aims to connect Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses.
He’s challenging other groups that work with Indigenous communities to follow his lead and give to Shelter House as well.
“Similar to the work that Shelter House does, I want to help my community. This includes both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous, and my focus is on the connection that is made when these two groups come together,” Semple says. ....
