Middle and high school students in St. Martin return to in-person instruction

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. — Middle and high school students in St. Martin Parish will be heading back to full in-person instruction starting Jan. 28, 2021.
In a letter to parents, Superintendent Allen Blanchard says that transmission rates of COVID-19 in the school system are low and they feel very strongly that the best place for children is indeed in the classroom.
Some districts in the parish have already transitioned from hybrid schedules to full attendance beginning at the end of September, Blanchard says. Others changed schedules later in the fall. ....
