A chance of snow flurries and showers has triggered the weather bureau to warn graziers in south-east Queensland to hide their sheep.
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Jonty Hall said strong west to north-westerly winds in Maranoa, Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt were expected on Thursday.
Snow is yet to be seen in the Darling Downs.
