STREATOR – Streator area residents gave their local Salvation Army the best Christmas gift to date. This year’s red kettle campaign not only reached its goal but exceeded it by over $10,000.  The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign faced a uniquely challenging 2020, falling short of bell-ringers nationwide due to the coronavirus pandemic. Judy Booze, Director for Streator’s Salvation Army says it is all thanks to the community. The outpouring of generosity landed the charity organization a total of over $50,000.
