Every third Thursday, The Spartanburg Art Museum places the spotlight on local artists from the ‘Burg with a free, self-guided ArtWalk tour complete with wine and cheese tastings. The event is hosted by the West Main Artists Co-op based at 578 W. Main St.
If your running feet can’t wait until the Doodle Trail 5K in July or you really just want to stop by for the food and drinks, Pickens County is inviting both runners and foodies to its Azalea Festival 5K Run and Walk from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The race starts at 415 E. Cedar Rock St. and concludes at the Pickens trail head with an after-party featuring live music and local cuisine. Tickets to participate in the race are $25. ....
