School level assessment for Ist to 7th; normal exam for 8th & 9th with 65 pc syllabus

JAMMU, Mar 2: Ending confusion over mode of conducting Term-2 examinations for the current session, Directorate of School Education Jammu today notified that instead of conventional exams, child friendly assessment shall be conducted at school level for classes Ist to 7th whereas for class 8th to 9th , it will be normal examination with 65 percent syllabus.
In case of class Ist to 7th, assessment shall be conducted at school level for current academic session from 3rd week of March, 2021 ensuring that the assessment is child friendly and the uniform models of assessment tools are used by all schools while retaining the flexibility of mode of conduct as well as actual questionnaire to be used. ....
