The Department of Prisons of Sri Lanka has devised a new path and a system to arrange a day and time for inmates families to visit inmates without delay.
In order to obtain this service, the personnel has the opportunity to visit the Sri Lanka Prisons Department website, enter information through the E Visit Information System and book a date and time.
In the future, a number of measures will be taken to reduce the number of problems in prisons using this technology and to address the problems associated with inmates and those in their homes due to COVID-19. ....
