Domestic dispute ends in assault charge for Hadley woman

HADLEY A Hadley woman was arrested after authorities say she assaulted another person with a weapon in front of children.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that it had arrested 45-year-old Laurie A. Beach after it received a report of a domestic dispute at 82 Stewart Bridge Road.
Following an investigation, Beach was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief, both felonies, as well as second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors, sheriff s investigators said.
Beach allegedly damaged property valued at over $1,500 and threatened others with a weapon, injuring one person in the process, the Sheriff’s Office said. She was charged with child endangerment as this was allegedly done in the presence of children. ....
