Hillsborough Democratic Organization: Councilwoman Holmes Resigns

“It is with a sense of deep regret that I have been informed that Committeewomen Olivia Holmes has, due to personal considerations, resigned her position on the Hillsborough Township Committee” stated Bill Dondiego, Chair of the Hillsborough Democratic Organization.
Ms. Holmes announced her decision and informed the Hillsborough Township Democratic Municipal Committee and the Hillsborough Township Committee on February 4th, effective immediately.
The Hillsborough Democratic Municipal Committee has 15 days to provide, to the remaining members of the Hillsborough Township Committee, the names of 3 Democrats to fill the vacancy on the Hillsborough Township Committee. The remaining members of the Township Committee have 30 days to choose among those whose names were submitted to serve until the next general election. ....
