City reports most cases in one day in December

The city of Midland reported Wednesday that the 201 unconfirmed cases on Tuesday were the most of any day during the month of December. 
The 201 cases were the most going back to the 314 from Nov. 30. The Midland Health Department also reported that the cases brought the total of cases (confirmed and unconfirmed) during the month of December to 2,269 and the number of cases during the pandemic to 12,663.
The city also reported Wednesday that a man in his 90s became the 184th COVID-19-related death during the pandemic. He had underlying health conditions was being treated at Helen Greathouse Manor at Manor Park. He died on Dec. 17. ....
