Shooting suspect arrested, charged

Hinesville Police Detectives have arrested a man in connection with the Jan. 20 evening shooting at a Hinesville convenience store around 6 p.m. resulting in the death of Rosemary Michaels, 56 of Hinesville.
According to HPD Detective, Capt. Tracey Howard, the shooting, which at first was believed to have been a robbery gone wrong, was actually a domestic act of violence. 
 
 
Howard said he had allegedly been stalking Michaels.  Last Wednesday night at a convenience store located on the corner of Gause Street and Memorial Drive, the pair got into a physical altercation.  ....
