Martinsville man arrested after alleged chase in Lynchburg

A Martinsville man was arrested Monday after allegedly leading local law enforcement on a chase that lasted approximately two hours.
Joshua Dennis, 32, of Martinsville has been charged with failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a fourth-degree felony, and receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.
According to Lynchburg Police Chief Richard Warner, the Lynchburg Police Department received a call Monday afternoon reporting a vehicle parked at a Lynchburg residence. After running the plates, it was determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Clinton County. ....
