Detailed description is Via di monte testaccio 69.20 anni fà. il l 5 dicembre 1992, in una ex falegnameria dell'allora poco nota( e malfamata)"via di monte testaccio" nasceva un piccolo Club con l'intento di creare un punto di riferimento per band emergenti, L'Akab,Il cui nome rievoca le gesta del capitano Achab che muore nel tentativo i cacciare la grande balena bianca.. Dal '94 la direzione artistica "alza il tiro" ed ispirandosi ai live club londinesi , ospita artisti del calibro di Sarah Jane Morris,Heart wind and Fire, Vinnie Colaiuta, Lucio Dalla, James Senese..... Nel '96 nasce il Cave, ricavato da una stalla sottostante l'akab e progettata dall'Arch . Aldo Capalbo.Di li a poco i due locali vennero unificati da una scala interna e all'asterno fu realizzato un giardino.Il progetto artistico si articolava su deu livelli, l'akab era destinato ad "allevare" un vivaio di giovani artisti che oggi sono una grossa fetta del nostro mercato discografico, e parlo di nomi come Giorgia, Alex Britti, Samuele Bersani,Max Gazzè,Marina Rei,Niccolò Fabi (solo per citarne alcuni).Il cave invece per la sua natura poteva ospitare mostre , presentazioni di libri, proiezioni di cortometraggi, tutto questo però fino alle 24...... Dopo la mezzanotte infatti djs come Gilles Peterson , Giancarlino, Patrick Forge, selezionavano quella musica che dopo qualche anno sarebbe diventata un fenomeno dilagante anche in italia, L'acid Jazz.Dopo 20 anni molte cose sono cambiate...fate prima a venire e vedere con i vostri occhi..
