Detailed description is The FDCC is the region's first indigenous, private foundation dedicated to early childhood development.. The Foundation will provide support to states and other partners to strengthen the care environment for young children, leverage and manage funds for initiatives focusing on young children in disadvantaged situations and assist regional governments to mainstream early childhood development, care and education, with requisite standards and regulatory frameworks (as regionally agreed in 2008) and to achieve regional and international goals/targets.
