Detailed description is Achieving change through inclusive and person-centred support for persons with disabilities. . . The New Paths to InclUsion Network is a European project bringing together 20 organisations, service-providers, universities and research centres from 14 European countries and Canada.. . The Network looks for new answers to its guiding question: . “How can we make sure that support services respond to the individual needs of persons with disabilities and help them live included in the community? What kind of training & learning is necessary to make this happen?”. . To make this happen, the Network works on three ‘keys to inclusion':. . Key 1: Developing person-centred organisations . Key 2: Fostering community inclusion and development. Key 3: Providing inclusive training and learning for all . . We want to make sure that organisations, service-providers as well as persons with disabilities themselves have the knowledge, values and skills they need to take an active part in their community. . . The project is done with the support of the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union.
