Detailed description is Community Appraisal and Motivation Programme (CAMP) is a national non-profit and non-governmental organisation established and registered in May 2002, under the Societies Act of 1860 (Registration No. 192/5/2946). We work with some of the most underprivileged communities in Pakistan; responding to emergencies, improving access to quality health and education, creating livelihood opportunities and working closely with communities and government departments to promote human rights, peace and security. . . Our approach is based on developing close cooperation with local communities and relevant stakeholders from the start, and relies on detailed assessments to identify and prioritise needs of communities we work with. We are committed to improving the health indicators for communities, while addressing the underlying causes: poverty and poor nutrition; limited access to clean water and sanitation; little or no understanding of basic health and hygiene; high levels of endemic disease; gender inequity; and access to resources within the public health system (infrastructure, equipment, personnel and drugs). .
