Detailed description is The department of Sanskrit, University of Delhi has started Research and Development in Computational Linguistics (CL)/Language Technology (LT). The department of Sanskrit, University of Delhi has started Research and Development in Computational Linguistics (CL)/Language Technology (LT) from the year 2014 under supervision of Dr. Subhash Chandra to train Sanskrit students in Computational Linguistics and develop new computational tools for Sanskrit and other Indian Languages. The R&D includes several areas of Language Technology for Sanskrit and other Indian languages. The department is currently engaged in developing computational tools for Sanskrit and other Indian language. We are also planning to start CL as new specialization for M.A. Sanskrit and few Inter-disciplinary Courses for other departments.
