Detailed description is Facebook page for the Koramangala 3rd Block Resident's Welfare Association at Bangalore.. The 3rd Block on the eastern periphery of Koramangala is a green and vibrant residential community that is an active participant in local area self governance. The residents welfare association (RWA) of this community is a platform for engagement and as an organizer of civic improvement and social causes that impact the day to life of its members and society at large. The RWA is lucky in having a physical hub at the Koramangala 3rd Block Post Office park located at the epicentre of the block. A volunteer effort library is run out of the park and all books are contributed by residents of the block. The RWA also operates an extensive waste management and recycling program and creates compost from leaf garbage in the area through a leaf shredder machine that was set up recently in 2013.
