I am based in New Delhi, India and I am a Nutritionist and Personal Trainer who renders his services by Online medium in order to reach a larger audience and clientele. . . I started working out in 2009 when I was tired of being obese, a pack a day smoker and my strength and confidence levels were down the gutter. I couldn't find a source around to guide me right so I started off reading a few blogs and took my training in my own hands.. . I learnt by doing and slowly my quest to fix myself was taken over by my hunger to look awesome to "compensate" for all the years I looked fat and remained unfit. Gradually I became knowledgeable and people around me asked for my help. I was wasting time on forums engaging in verbal debates which sometimes turned into abusing session.. . My internet friend Vishal Sachdeva who trusted me made this page on January 31 2012 for fun and told me to share my knowledge here and not on forums where it wasn't valued. . . So in mid of that year I dropt out my college degree (BBA Banking and Insurance, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies) when i realized this was the break I needed all my life and I might not get opportunity again. My mom (RIP :'( my goddess) supported me and let me drop out the degree when I had already wasted the fee for 3 years now (I dropt in 2009 too when I was doing footwear manufacturing business but that;s a different story) and gave me money to join American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer course, and New Delhi YMCA clinical nutrition and dietetics. I chose clinical nutrition and dietetics because I believe that Fitness and Health cannot exist without other and if someone had for example say, liver scarring, or hypertension, or diabetes, I wanted that they would not be limited by their medical condition and I could help them reverse it or control it as much as nutritional science can make it possible.. . It has been a tough journey. I have faced trolls and hatered when I began. But i pushed through with the love and support of people who kept trust in me, and here I am today. There is a long way to go, but I will make sure I never give up.. . I have a dream. I want every young boy and girl to live a healthy life, and be able to look at their best and not be limited towards enjoying a good life by their body.
