This corps has a long and productive history, contributing a large number of its former members to Canada ’s Forces, in general and the Cape Breton Highlanders (CB) in particular. It was begun as a school corps and was originally designated Scotia Army Cadet Corps. A few years ago the Cape Breton Highlanders Association became its sponsor and the corps subsequently requested and received authority for the name change and to wear the cap badge of the CBH. The present Commanding Officer is Capt Brian Gibson. The corps trains and holds regular parades at the Glace Bay Armories.
