A Good Source of Fiber started out as an add-on to the business formerly known as The Hole Affair. The additional name was used to indicate that this bead store also carried yarn and related supplies. After 14 plus years in operation in Jackson, CA, the brick and mortar store was closed and converted to an online yarn shop. But we wanted to still maintain that connection with our regular customers, so we became a bit innovative. We are now both an online and mobile yarn shop. We still offer classes in the area, both in beadwork and knitting. Crochet lessons can be arranged by special appointment. We also continue to carry a selection of beads and supplies in order to supply our local customers with hard to find items, as well as to continue to promote knitting and crochet with beads, and kumihimo braiding.
