Detailed description is Adams Army began in 2013 when a special person in our lives, Adam Cripps, was diagnosed with his final battle with cancer; the definition of inspiration When Adam Cripps was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2015, after spending a large portion of his life battling other childhood cancers, we knew that the only way to get through it all was to have an army of support. Adams Army is committed to helping families undergoing the same ordeal by relieving some of the financial burden that comes along with the already exhausting fight against cancer. . . Adam wanted to be a doctor so he could help families just like his through this terrible disease, so before he passed we asked him if he would like us to continue doing what we do and instead of fight for him, we would fight for other families. He was definitely on board with what our plans were with Adams Army and gave us that quirky smile as he nodded his head yes.. . Adam was an inspiration, a hero, and an old soul and his legacy will live on with the help of his Army. . . November 27 2014 may have taken his body from us but he will always be with us in spirit and his infectious smile will always keep us moving in the direction that he wanted to go himself. . . Once we have received the paperwork from the government approving our request to be an accredited not for profit organization, more details about how we work will be noted on our page and website. Paperwork was sent away in April of this year, and we are hopeful that we will receive the news before the new year arrives. . . We are very excited to keep Adams dream alive and we have many events planned for our future. We hope that we can fulfill his wish, with your help, and be as strong as he was throughout his journey. . . Thank you for following his journey and for building him an army.. . Lots of love,.
